Great goal inspires Haile Gebrselassie again

13 April 2012

Haile Gebrselassie will chase a third victory and a world record at the Great Manchester Run on 16 May.

"I have always stressed how important it is to have perfect weather for record attempts — last year I was in perfect shape to do so but the wind made it impossible," he said.

"Manchester is a very fast course and I want to produce something special when trying for a third win."
