Gunners' woeful form won't change Flamini's mind over future

Mathieu Flamini insists Arsenal's slump in form will not affect his decision over whether to sign a new contract.

The midfielder is a free agent this summer and was believed to be interesting Italian giants Juventus.

But he said: "Like I said before, I am very happy at Arsenal and my agents are talking with the club."

Flamini is enjoying a fine season with Arsenal and could push Lyon's Jeremy Toulalan for a starting spot for France's clash with England in Paris tonight.

Flamini, who has one cap to his name, said: "We have some very good players in midfield, and the coach has a choice to make.

"It is the same situation at Arsenal but I am playing as well as I can, and I will just continue to give my best."
