Hewitt clinches it for Australia

Lleyton Hewitt beat world No 2 Gustavo Kuerten 7-6, 6-3, 7-6 to send Australia into the semi-finals of the Davis Cup.

Hewitt's win gave the 1999 champions a decisive 3-1 lead over Brazil as he beat the reigning French Open champion in front of his own crowd.

Australia will play hosts Sweden in the semi-finals.

France beat Switzerland 3-2 to set up a semi-final clash with the Netherlands.
