I'm a quick healer - Morrison

Graeme Morrison could miss Scotland's RBS 6 Nations campaign after injuring his knee playing for Glasgow against Edinburgh.

The 28-year-old centre suffered a ligament injury in the Warriors' December 27 win over Edinburgh and missed the return clash and Saturday's game at Munster. Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen said Morrison, who has been a crucial part of Scotland's successes under Andy Robinson, would be out for "weeks rather than months", but an eight-week lay-off could leave him struggling.

"I like to think of myself as a quick healer," Morrison told BBC Scotland. "I've done this on the other knee before and I was back before they predicted. I'm hoping it will be around six to eight weeks, which would give me a chance to play in some of the Six Nations."

He added: "I've been playing well this season, so to have this is a bit of a setback, but I'll just do my best to get back on the pitch."

Scotland open their Six Nations campaign in France on February 5, with the final game coming at home to Italy on March 19.
