Ince is new MK Dons boss

Paul Ince has been unveiled as the new manager of MK Dons.

The former England captain, 39, quit League Two rivals Macclesfield to take up the post at the National Hockey Stadium, which was vacated by Martin Allen's departure to Leicester last month.

Ince, who helped the club preserve their Football League status on the final day of last season having taken over when they were rooted to the bottom, admitted "my heart has said stay but my head has been telling me to go to MK Dons".

Ince's assistant Ray Mathias and fitness coach Duncan Russell have also quit Moss Rose.
