Jensen tips Fulham for Cup glory

14 April 2012

Fulham may have spluttered into the fifth of the FA Cup but midfielder Claus Jensen still believes his side can go all the way.

The Cottagers have required replays to see off Coca-Cola Championship teams Watford and Derby in previous rounds, while Bolton are the next hurdle that must be negotiated if they are to keep their cup dream alive.

Bolton will start as favourites at the Reebok Stadium but Jensen - who was in the Trotters' side which reached the 2000 semi-finals - believes that may work in Fulham's favour.

"Bolton are an old club of mine and I'm looking forward to going back there," Jensen told the club's official website, www.fulhamfc.com.

"Everybody knows it will be difficult at their ground, and sometimes that makes things easier than if you are massive favourites.

"They've been on a good run lately and we know it will be very tough, but we've got an equal chance.

"It will be a very tight and could go either way, but there's no reason why it can't go ours.

"The way we've kept battling is what the cup is all about - there have been ups and downs, good periods and bad periods, but we've done really well to still be in it.

"There's absolutely no reason why we can't go all the way - I think we can have a great little adventure here."
