Adam Johnson scored twice as a youthful side put five past
Coca-Cola League Two promotion hopefuls Darlington.

Johnson put Boro ahead on the half hour with a cheeky chipped penalty after he had been brought down, while new signing Marvin Emnes made it 2-0 three minutes
before the break with a crisp turn and shot.

A Lewis Hardman own goal put the visitors three up while Tony McMahon capitalised on a ricochet in the Darlington box to make it four with 69 minutes gone.

Johnson rounded off the 5-0 victory with a driving run and shot.
