Jose: Title almost gone

12 April 2012

Jose Mourinho conceded Chelsea had "almost" lost the their grip on the Premiership title after failing to beat Bolton at Stamford Bridge.

United are five points clear at the top after fighting back from two goals down to beat Everton 4-2 at Goodison Park with just three games to play.

Mourinho said: "It is almost lost, almost. In football, almost is always a big question mark."

Ricardo Carvalho has been ruled out of Chelsea's Champions League semi-final second leg with Liverpool on Tuesday.

Carvalho suffered a first-half knee injury and Mourinho added: "He is definitely out. He has injured his knee and it is a big blow. He has been our best defender this season - it is as simple as that."
