Juventus hope to seal deal for Behrami

Juventus have not given up hope of signing West Ham's Valon Behrami next month, writes Tom Collomosse.

The Serie A club want to complete a deal for about £6.5million for the Swiss, who has been at Upton Park for only five months following his move from Lazio.

West Ham are reluctant to part with the player and have told the Italians they would not sell for double the price offered.

However, financial uncertainty surrounding the club - which was put up for sale last week by Icelandic owner Bjorgolfur Gudmundsson - means Juve remain quietly confident they can hammer out a deal.
