Korea green light boosts McLaren

The Korean Grand Prix was given the green light today - throwing a lifeline to McLaren's Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button in the title race.

After serious delays in building the circuit in Yeongam, it has now passed an FIA inspection, allowing the Grand Prix to be held on 24 October.

Hamilton and Button are fourth and fifth in the standings respectively and if the race had been axed there would have been just two left this term.
