Kournikova back for Eastbourne

Anna Kournikova has entered the Britannic Asset Management International championship at Eastbourne which starts on 17 June.

The former Wimbledon semi-finalist was unable to take part at Eastbourne last year due to injury.

The after effects of that period away from the game has left her struggling this season.

Tournament director John Feaver said: "We are delighted Anna is returning after injury prevented her from taking part last year.

"It will be a mouth-watering line-up of stars and we can look forward to a memorable week of tennis."
