Levein hopes to renew old rivalry

Scotland manager Craig Levein would love to be drawn with England when the Euro 2012 qualifying groups are decided in Warsaw on Sunday.

Levein has been too busy meeting players and watching games during his first six weeks in charge to focus too much on potential opponents. However, he is excited about the prospect of being paired with the Auld Enemy or other major nations.

"I wasn't fortunate enough as a player to get the chance to play against England and I would love that," said Levein, whose team are among the third seeds.

"But I would love to play against Spain, Germany... The very fact we have got some great teams in the competition excites me and England are one I would love to play against."

When pressed further on his preferences, Levein said: "We'll take what we get, I'm not worried about who we get.

"I'm more focusing on having a look at the players, meeting managers, meeting players and focusing on ourselves.

"I have been really busy with getting a structure in place on the scouting side of things."
