McIntosh strikes gold

Scotland's Jen McIntosh bagged a shooting gold medal on Day Nine of the Commonwealth Games.

McIntosh won the women's singles 50m rifle prone competition with a Games record score of 597-42x.

And Johanne Brekke took the bronze medal for Wales with 593-33x while Indian Tejaswini Sawant claimed the silver medal with a score of 594-31x.

McIntosh was in stunning form from the start of the competition and missed just three shots in the six series to beat the Games record of 590 points set by Carolyn Quigley of Malaysia in 1998.
