Middlesbrough v Arsenal

14 April 2012

(3pm, Riverside Stadium).
Away ticket info: Arsenal have sold out their allocation
Last season: 2 (Ince, Ricard) 1 (Bergkamp)
Fact: Arsenal have lost only once in their past 16 games and have won on four of their past five visits to Middlesbrough
Recommended pub: Doctor Browns (Corporation Road)
Arsenal went out of their first competition on Wednesday when they lost to Ipswich in the Worthington Cup but, from the team he put out, I wouldn't imagine that Arsene Wenger isn't exactly beside himself with grief. Tomorrow the Gunners are at The Riverside Stadium where the fans, if we have any more rain, will be double-parking their rowing boats. Bryan Robson's team have yet to win at home after five matches and they must be looking forward to a clash against buoyant Arsenal with as much enthusiasm as Dumbo with adenoids trouble.
VERDICT: BORO ALL WASHED UP
