Miller looks bound for Bursaspor

Bursaspor have announced Kenny Miller has agreed terms over a move to Turkey.

The 31-year-old Rangers striker is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with Birmingham and Fiorentina, among others.

But it appears Bursaspor have won the race to sign the Scotland international, although whether the deal is immediate will depend on the Super Lig champions agreeing a fee with the Clydesdale Bank Premier League club.

Miller travelled from Glasgow to Istanbul before a helicopter flight on to Bursa, where Rangers played in the Champions League earlier this season with the striker scoring in a 1-1 draw.

Miller was pictured on the club's official website alongside the Turkish club's technical director Ozluce Tesisleri.

A statement on www.bursaspor.org.tr read: "Kenny Miller today reached an agreement with Ozluce Tesisleri.

"The Rangers striker arrived by helicopter and met with Ozluce Tesisleri.

"The player will sign the official contract and you will be informed about the details later."

The move, for a reported contract worth £50,000 per week, brings an end to the speculation shrouding Miller's future destination.

It recently became apparent he was certain to be leaving Rangers, for whom he has scored 22 goals this season, after failing to agree new terms on his contract. However, it is still unclear whether he will return to Ibrox for the remainder of the campaign as the Glasgow side are yet to confirm a fee for his immediate release has been reached.
