Mo Farah kicks off Games year in Birmingham

Mo Farah today confirmed his first race of the season will be in Birmingham next month.

The 28-year-old has entered the two-mile event at the Aviva Grand Prix on February 18.

Last February he smashed the British and European indoor 5,000m records with a thrilling run of 13:10.60 at the National Indoor Arena, setting up a stellar year which saw him win 5,000m gold at the World Championships in Daegu.
