Murray sits out doubles rubber

12 April 2012

Andy Murray will not be risked in Great Britain's Davis Cup doubles rubber with Austria at Wimbledon today.

Davis Cup captain John Lloyd revealed that the British number one would not be partnering brother Jamie as a precautionary move because of a slight abductor injury.

Jamie Murray will therefore team up with Ross Hutchins against Jurgen Melzer and Julian Knowle.

The tie is locked at 1-1 after yesterday's singles rubbers.
