Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin are set for a rematch on May 5.

The last fight between the middleweights in Las Vegas in September ended in a controversial draw, with Golovkin calling the verdict “bad for the sport”.

And the Kazakh, who holds the WBA, WBC and IBF belts, said: “I didn’t agree with some of the judges’ decisions in the first fight. This time there will be no doubt — I am leaving the ring as the champion.”

But Mexico’s Alvarez is also confident ahead of the fight, for which the venue is yet to be confirmed, saying: “Golovkin won’t have any excuses — I’m coming to knock him out.”
