Padraig Harrington feels pain of the bookies

The pressure of being the defending Open champion has not gone unnoticed by bookmakers who are lining up special bets on the injured Padraig Harrington.

The Dubliner has been given odds of 14/1 by William Hill to hit his first tee shot tomorrowmorning out of bounds when he is paired with Retief Goosen and Justin Leonard.

Harrington picked up a neck injury two weeks ago and said yesterday that he is also carrying a wrist problem that prevents him from practising in the rough.
