Rangers target Macca set to stay with Hammers

Northern Ireland international George McCartney has played down speculation linking him with a summer switch to Ibrox.

West Ham left-back McCartney is understood to have been monitored by Rangers over the past six months, but declared himself unwilling to move to the SPL.

"I'm happy with life at West Ham - I am playing every week in the Premier League," said McCartney.

"Rangers are a massive team but I don't know if Scottish football is really up to Premier League standards."
