Roddick wants to end the year as No1

13 April 2012

Andy Roddick demonstrated his determination to end the year as No1 in the world by defeating Spain's Carlos Moya 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 at the seasonending ATP Masters Cup in Houston.

"It's good to get the first one under your belt," Roddick said. "It keeps it from being an uphill battle, especially with the race for No1 being so close."
