Gordon Ross has warned Gregor Townsend that he aims to make the Scotland No.10 jersey his own. The Edinburgh Gunners stand-off struck 23 points on his international debut as Scotland secured a 43-20 victory over Tonga and hopes to keep his place for the second Test against Argentina next Sunday.

Ross said: 'I don't know if Gregor is back in contention. But, fingers crossed, I will be in the squad.
