Roy Keane will have more space for his half-time team talks at Sunderland

Sunderland manager Roy Keane has demanded bigger dressing rooms at the Stadium of Light to cope with a larger squad.

From next season, seven substitutes will be allowed in the Barclays Premier League, although managers will still only be allowed to use three during a game.

So Keane has ordered the changing rooms to be extended during the close season and work has started to create more space, more seats and increase the room width by 1.8 metres. The players' tunnel has also been given a lick of fresh paint.
