Royal Latin v Sharnbrook Upper

13 April 2012
Royal Latin 13 Sharnbrook Upper School 10

Royal Latin edged a bruising encounter thanks to a superb individual try from Andy Booth.

He had put the home side ahaead with a penalty and restored their advantage at 6-3 after 20 minutes.

But Ollie Jordan's try, converted by Josh Dickson, on the brink of half time swung the advantage to Sharnbrook.

Latin's half backs, Remi Coventry, at 9, and Booth outside him controlled the game beautifully and it was fitting reward when Booth beat four players to score under the posts.

The fly half duly added two more points to his personal tally and will test his skills at Warwick in the next round.
