Bok Bakkies can't sleep at night

Restless: Bakkies Botha
5 April 2012

South Africa lock Bakkies Botha has admitted that he is so wound up about facing Argentina in Sunday's World Cup semi-final that he cannot sleep.

South Africa and Argentina are both unbeaten heading into the clash at the Stade de France, with their heavyweight forwards set for a punishing battle that will undoubtedly decide the contest.

Botha said: "I love the Argentina style. They like to play in the forwards.

"We know they are a passionate squad and they will come out very aggressive, and that's my game. I love it.

"I am actually like a young boy. I can't sleep at night because I am looking forward to the weekend so much.

"Everyone knows that we must turn it up a notch higher this weekend, and we know if we lose it is all gone - the four-year dream is all gone - and I think we will definitely be at our best.

"The players want that Cup, and to get that Cup we must win on Sunday.

"I am going to prepare like it is the last Springbok game of my life."
