England have announced their schedule for the 2020 autumn international series, with New Zealand set to visit Twickenham in a mouthwatering opening contest.

The All Blacks will head to south-west London on November 7 in what could possibly be a repeat of the upcoming World Cup semi-final, providing the two teams get through their respective last-eight clashes against Australia and Ireland.

New Zealand made their first trip to England for four years during the autumn of 2018, with the hosts giving up a healthy lead and seeing Sam Underhill's try controversially ruled out as they lost by a single point, 16-15.

Seven days after that meeting with the three-time world champions, England play host to World Cup Pool C opponents Argentina at Twickenham on November 14.

The Pumas went down 39-10 in Tokyo earlier this month after Tomas Lavanini's dismissal for a dangerous tackle on Owen Farrell left them to play with 14 men for 63 minutes.

England are then due to face a Tier 2 nation - the identity of which has yet to be confirmed - before rounding off their autumn campaign against the Wallabies on November 28.

Earlier in the year, a home XV will also contest a Quilter Cup match against the Barbarians at English rugby headquarters on June 21.
