London Irish may have lost four in a row but Nick Kennedy is refusing to panic.

Irish surprised Harlequins when winning on their return to the Aviva Premiership but have since suffered heavy defeats by Exeter, Sale, Northampton and Newcastle.

In the 29-17 loss at Kingston Park last Friday, Irish once again gave their opponents a big half-time lead before fighting back.

Ahead of Irish’s game against Leicester at the Madejski Stadium tomorrow, director of rugby Kennedy said: "We are the newly-promoted team and have played one game at home in the first five and I don’t believe there is any reason to be concerned at this stage.

"Defensive lapses have contributed to those first-half problems.

"Our bench has made a real impact but we have been left with too much to do. We keep playing right to the end and are desperate to get a result."
