Pocock's return gives weakened Wallabies a lift

25 October 2012

Flanker David Pocock will return to the injury-depleted Australia ranks next month after being named today in the squad for the four-Test tour of Europe.

Pocock was one of a host of top players absent for all or part of the Wallabies’ southern hemisphere international season but has overcome a knee injury to feature in a 30-strong group for Tests against England, France, Italy and Wales.

Coach Robbie Deans said: “Poey has done very well. He’s still got a bit to do in terms of being available to be selected but he’s clearly going to be available and hence he’s coming with us.”
