Sexton gets out of tight spot for Test

Ireland fly-half Jonathan Sexton has been cleared to face Argentina on Saturday after pulling up with a tight groin in the warm-up before the game with Fiji.

Team manager Mick Kearney said: “At a stretch, Jonathan could have stayed in the squad on Saturday but we withdrew him solely as a precaution. He received treatment over the weekend and there’s been considerable easing.”
