Stability is key for Sarries

10 April 2012

The entire Saracens coaching staff, including South Africa-based technical director Brendan Venter, have extended their contracts until June 2014.

Venter returned home last January for family reasons but, with Mark McCall moving smoothly up to director of rugby, the club surged to a first Premiership title. Venter will continue to fly in from Cape Town to help the squad's development during the coming season.

Sarries chairman Nigel Wray said: "Not only do we have a talented group of coaches, they are also an exceptional group of people and that is just as important. We have stability within our coaching and playing staff, which makes me so excited about the future."
