Five of Britain's greatest female Olympians went for gold in the glamour stakes when they came together for a photoshoot.
Sally Gunnell, Tessa Sanderson, Sharron Davies, Jayne Torvill and Dame Kelly Holmes swapped tracksuits for evening gowns to appear in Hello! Magazine.
Swimmer Davies, who won silver at the Moscow games in 1980, said all five of them share a unique bond.
She told Hello!: "I know it's a cliché, but you become part of an Olympic family.
"We all have a shared experience. It kind of defines who you are, and it's basically forever."
Dame Kelly, who won gold in the 800m and 1500m competitions at Athens 2004, said the women "all speak the same language".
She said: "We're all driven. We're all medallists. We're all determined, strong women, so there's a common ground, even though we have different lives."
Sanderson, who won a javelin gold medal at the 1984 games, said nothing has compared to that moment since.
She said: "If I could bottle one feeling in my life, it would be that first throw and standing on that podium. I'd love to feel it again. But you never lose that little tingle."
