Symons facing final curtain

Kit Symons is suspended for what could be his final game as Crystal Palace's caretaker player-manager.

With Oldham boss Iain Dowie in talks about becoming the new manager at Selhurst Park, Symons is suspended for tomorrow's game at Reading following his sending off against Preston two weeks ago.

Julian Gray, is set to start again after failing to secure a move and starring in last week's 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

Jamie Smith will be fit after a slight hamstring trouble and Neil Shipperley is available after injury.
