Andy Murray will face Andrey Kuznetsov in the first round of the French Open.
The world number one will begin his bid for a fourth Grand Slam title against the 85th-ranked Russian, against whom Murray has won both matches.
The draw leads Murray towards a possible quarter-final with Kei Nishikori, who ended the Scot's winning run at the US Open last year. Notably he is also in the opposite half of the draw to reigning champion Novak Djokovic and nine-time winner - and overwhelming favourite - Rafa Nadal.
Murray has endured a disappointing run of form during the clay court season, crashing out of the Italian Open in the second round to Fabio Fognini after similarly disappointing early exitzs in Monte Carlo and Madrid.

The 30-year-old has never won at Roland Garros but reached the final in 2016, losing in four sets to Djokovic.
The holder will face Marcel Granollers whilst tournament favourite Nadal will take on French world number 45 Benoit Paire.
Elsewhere Kyle Edmund will take on Gastao Elias, Dan Evans faces Tommy Rebredo and Aljaz Bedene has been drawn against Ryan Harrison.
In the women's draw seventh seed Johanna Konta will face Su-Wei Hsieh of Taiwan in the first round of the women's draw, with either Taylor Townsend or a qualifier to follow in the second round.
Konta has played the world No. 109 on two separate occasions, winning in Vancouver in 2013 but losing at Eastbourne earlier in the same year.
Czech world number 15 Petra Kvitova was also included in the draw having recovered from being stabbed in the hand during a burglary at her home in December.
