Wimbledon 2017: Weather forecast for Wednesday, July 12

George Elek12 July 2017

After a day that saw little play away from Centre Court due to rain, Wednesday at Wimbledon looks set to stay dry once the wet weather subsides in the early morning.

It will feel fresh and cool at SW19, with temperatures peaking at around 20C in the later afternoon. There will be sunny spells, but it is forecast to be fairly breezy with winds of up to 12mph.

There should not be any need for the roof to be over Centre Court for the second day in a row, where Andy Murray will get the play underway against Sam Querrey at 1.00pm.

He will be followed by Roger Federer’s attempt to navigate his way past Milos Raonic and into the semi-finals.

Court 1 sees Nadal’s conqueror, Gilles Muller, come up against Marin Cilic, with Novak Djokovic taking on Tomas Berdych after having played a day later than his last eight rivals.

The rest of the week is set to remain dry, although we will not have the high temperatures that were experienced last week.
