Tigers maul Bath

England fly-half Toby Flood masterminded rampant Leicester's first league win at Bath for five years as Tigers tightened their grip on the Aviva Premiership with a 37-6 win.

Flood's 22-point contribution included two tries, with Leicester's England contingent displaying no hangover from the RBS 6 Nations title triumph in Dublin seven days ago.

His England colleague Tom Croft also touched down twice, while former red rose centre Anthony Allen crossed early as Leicester never looked back after building a 22-3 interval lead.

Harlequins kept their fading play-off hopes alive by thrashing in-form Gloucester 53-15 at a sold-out Twickenham Stoop.

The Londoners put their poor recent form behind them in stunning fashion, thanks in no small part to a Ugo Monye hat-trick, George Lowe's brace and fly-half Rory Clegg's superb kicking display.

Returning duo Joe Gray and George Robson also ran in tries against a Gloucester side who claimed the LV=Cup last weekend.

Delon Armitage returned from an eight-match suspension and took only 40 seconds to score the opening try as London Irish boosted their hopes of reaching the play-offs with a 39-17 win over Exeter.

Armitage's younger brother, flanker Steffon, weighed in with two tries, replacement hooker David Paice also touched down and winger Tom Homer kicked 19 points for the Exiles, now unbeaten at home since New Year's Day.

Exeter, who had won three of their previous four Premiership matches, replied with a try from prop Chris Budgen and four penalties from fly-half Gareth Steenson.
