Vaughan doubtful for Perth clash

12 April 2012

Andrew Flintoff is expected to lead England once again on Tuesday, with Michael Vaughan highly doubtful to face New Zealand.

Captain Vaughan took part in light running on Monday morning but he is not yet fully mobile due to his tender left hamstring.

"Vaughanie is doubtful," said Flintoff. "The final decision will be made on Tuesday when we see how he rocks up. He has done some running out there."

However, new-ball duo James Anderson (back) and Jon Lewis (ankle) are definitely out of the game.

Flintoff added: "Jimmy Anderson and Jon Lewis have got niggles and they won't be available."
