Vieira in praise of Wenger

Patrick Vieira today spoke glowingly of Arsene Wenger's man-management skills, but admitted the Arsenal boss is not afraid of giving his players a dressing down when he sees fit.

Vieira said: "Arsene is someone who gives everything to his players. We are now at the stage where we trust him as a coach and also as a human being. We can talk to him about football, about personal life - everything. I know in public he rarely says we've done wrong, but that's because he's protecting us."
