Had Watford lost at home to Norwich on Tuesday, then Gianluca Vialli may have felt like a pin cushion with all those knives going in. Happily, the Hornets showed plenty of character to notch up a much-needed 2-1 win and although the First Division promotion play-offs continue to look a distant prospect, at least Vialli's men can finish what has been a difficult season on something of a high note.
