Westbrook completes two touchdowns for ninth win

13 April 2012

Brian Westbrook ran for one touchdown and hauled in a pass from Freddie Mitchell for another to help the Philadelphia Eagles defeat the Miami Dolphins 34-27 for their ninth consecutive victory.

The last time the Eagles won nine straight, in 1960, they captured their third and last NFL Championship, beating the Green Bay Packers 17-13.

It was also Philadelphia's first-ever win in Miami.

"We're opening up some eyes now," Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb said. "What you see is a team with a lot of attitude having a lot of fun."
