They were found guilty of striking when they appeared before the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee in Leeds and were both handed one-match bans and fined £300.

Injury-hit Warrington suffered a major blow ahead of Friday's derby clash with champions St Helens when prop Paul Rauhihi was handed a one-match ban.

The 24-year-old former New Zealand Test forward, who was today offered a new 12-month contract by the Wolves, was placed on report for a dangerous tackle on Paul Jackson in last Friday's 34-22 defeat by Huddersfield and was found guilty of the offence by the disciplinary committee.

Rauhihi, who has missed only one match all season, was also fined £300.
