Love Island: Rebecca Gormley is the latest bombshell arrival in the winter villa

The residents of the Love Island villa were still reeling from Eve Gale’s exit on Sunday night, but a new arrival is already heading in to replace her.

Friday’s dramatic recoupling saw Jess Gale left in the villa without her twin, after Nas Majeed was forced to choose which of them to save.

The latest instalment (on Sunday, January 20) charted the Islanders’ attempts to process the drama, with Connor Durman also infuriated by Connagh Howard’s decision to “steal” Sophie Piper from him.

The new couples were then put to the test in a challenge that revealed how well they really know each other and as if that wasn’t enough, Rebecca Gormley’s imminent entrance was revealed at the end of the episode.

The 21-year-old is the latest bombshell arrival and given that none of the couples have fully committed themselves to each other yet, there’s every chance Rebecca could ruffle a few feathers.

The Newcastle-born model and part-time carer has revealed that three of the men - Connagh, Mike and Callum Jones - have caught her fancy, adding that she’ll go “as far as I need to go” to get the guy she wants.

“I need to chat to them,” she added. “I haven’t seen enough of them to know how I’m going to approach it.

“I like funny guys, so I’m thinking making the guy laugh is a tick in the box. But no smooth moves, I’ll just be myself.”

Like many of the other Islanders, Rebecca has already had a brush with fame too, winning Miss Newcastle in 2018 and coming sixth in Miss England the following year.

Rebecca describes herself as “fun, loud and outgoing”, rating herself either an eight and a half or nine out 10 in the looks department.
