Win a VIP night at Londonâ™s hottest party Love Therapy! Plus exclusive vinyl

5 April 2012

This month's Love Therapy @ Mango in Holborn looks set to be a very special night indeed. Held in association with Deep Secret Records, Guest therapists from DSR will be the FNKY residents Nick Marchment and Jamie Ashdown, whose music ranges through soulful, deep and funky house, incorporating live vocals from Mary Aware and freestyle hip hop from DJ Mickey Dugan.

The FNKY boys have had a breakthrough year in 2003, with a successful residency hailing just outside of London and the groundbreaking What We Do series of parties in the heart of W1. A major coup in their A&R guise this year was signing the Doinit Track to Global Underground's 24/7 Lee Burridge Compilation.

Mary Aware, already famous for her vocals on Naked Music compilations and single releases, will be joining Nick and Jamie to sing live during their set. Mickey Dugan, the hugely talented DJ from the StickyDekFeet collective will mixing things up further along with live MC's ROY and Blunt Stereo's lead vocalist Lou Abbots free styling lyrics over the latest underground hip hop tracks.

Kicking off at 8pm and going on till 2am, Head Therapist Sian and resident Dennis will be warming things up as usual with a deep and funky house vibe.

Love Therapy has teamed up with This is London to offer a VIP night out for one lucky winner plus a friend with exclusive guest list entry to Love Therapy on Friday November 7th and a bottle of champagne on arrival. They will also receive a limited edition 12” copy of Doinit thanks to the FNKY boys.
