Trump adviser: UK ‘first in line’ for trade deal

Donald Trump’s national security adviser has said the UK is “first in line” for a trade deal with the US after Brexit.

His remarks came after held talks with Prime Minister Boris Johnson on a visit to London yesterday.

Mr Johnson is today waiting to hear if a legal challenge aiming to block a no-deal will be heard before October 31.

The legal bid claims that suspending Parliament to make the UK leave the EU without a deal is "unlawful and unconstitutional".

Murder probe after fatal stabbing in north London

A murder probe has been launched after a man was knifed to death in north London.

Police and paramedics were called to reports of a stabbing at the Munster Square estate in Camden on Monday night.

No arrests have been made.

Met officer investigated over Nigerian Big Brother appearance

A Metropolitan Police officer is appearing on the Nigerian version of Big Brother despite being refused permission by her bosses.

Khafi Kareem, who joined the force as a Pc in 2015, is one of the current stars of the African reality TV show.

It said an internal investigation would be carried out.

Canada teen murder suspects ‘killed themselves’

Two teenagers murder suspects who sparked a Canada-wide manhunt both committed suicide, police believe.

A post-mortem examination has confirmed two bodies found last week in northern Manitoba are those of Kam McLeod, 19, and Bryer Schmegelsky, 18.

They were suspected of three murders: those of an US-Australian couple and a Canadian man.

A manhunt for the pair had spread across three provinces and included the Canadian military.

The suspects had not been seen since the burned-out car was found on July 22.

Harry and Meghan waxworks split up

Madame Tussauds has separated its waxwork models of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex’s model has taken up a spot next to her celebrity wedding guests Tom Hardy, the Beckhams and Priyanka Chopra.

Harry’s waxwork has rejoined the rest of the Royal Family replicas in a different room.

Steve Davies, general manager at Madame Tussauds London said the move reflects Meghan’s “independent celebrity status”.
